Americans have a 2nd Civil War in progress today. Instead of the Blue and Gray facing off across a no man’s land that even resembles a Civil War map of 1861, we have the Government (Govs) and those ‘Anti Govs’ who only wish to dismantle our government. It’s being fought with obstructionist strategies by the ANTI GOVS, instead of military ones, but the economic destruction of large parts of America is at stake with its outcome. This obstructionist ‘Anti Gov’ 2nd Civil War is fought by the Republican Tea Party, as waged by a ‘Do Nothing’ Republican Congress, seeking to negate the power of a duly elected incumbent President to govern. The traditional role of Congress, includes initiating the necessary Tax and Spend legislation to keep America economically healthy.
Instead ‘The Republican Tea Party’ Anti Govs have proposed legislation to dismantle America’s Safety Net, and through Sequestration arbitrarily and dramatically cut many necessary programs, while undermining our military with massive defense cuts. This Republican Congress has taken the governing tools of past administrations out of the hands of the President, and made it impossible to provide a viable Presidential stewardship of the Economy, that would include raising revenues to pay down the National debt, provide stimulus to the economy that would create more jobs to help build needed infrastructure. The Anti Govs have made it impossible to create long term planning leading to the ‘Fiscal Cliff' negotiations of today. The least efficient Congress in our nation’s history has even failed to let the debt ceiling rise, to keep the economy solvent, until the arrival of better economic times. These are the War tactics being waged on Americans in the 2nd American Civil War.
President Obama who represents the reasoned Pro Government forces in Washington, DC, has attempted to make reasonable and painful concessions to the ‘Anti Govs’ who are being allowed to blackmail our President with this outrageous and obstructionist scorched earth policy in their war against Pro Gov. forces. President Obama in the name of domestic peace has sought to be reasonable. He faces the Anti Gov forces arrayed against the American People, and seeks fair agreement to save our nation’s economic health. The 2nd American Civil War will last longer than the first one. The importance of the outcome is perhaps even greater than our first Civil War, because economically speaking the Anti Gov forces are attempting to rob the majority ofAmericans, for their own selfish vested interest pursued at the expense of average Americans.
The Rich and powerful who drive the Anti Gov. Forces seek to own the economic engine of America. The Rich desire to avoid accountability to the Federal Government or the American people. They’re no longer displaying any real interest in America, but only desire to earn huge profits made through high risk investments, that now often are likely to come at the direct expense of the American people. No just as the Slave owners of our first Civil War, who needed African slaves on their Plantations, to make them economically viable for the Southern Aristocracy to maintain their affluence, the Anti Gov forces of today seek a totally deregulated American economy. A deregulated economy allows the Anti Gov. forces to pursue; high risk investment strategies that in President George W. Bush’s last year in office, led to the ruined economy inherited by President Obama when he took office in 08. We must win the 2nd American Civil War, against the Republican Tea Party, Anti Gov. forces, or our traditional right to a decent life economically speaking is over in these United States. And that would be modern day American Tragedy of epic proportions.
